Turning the Page

I've been drawing every day for years. I don’t know how many; feels like forever.

Beyond craft or hobby, I draw out of impulse, anxiety, habit. On napkins, receipts, scrap cardboard, and screens. I suppose it’s like keeping a diary, just a bit more abstract.

For a long time, I felt that mountain of paper made up the walls of a fort: as long as drawing stood between the world and me, there was no need for introductions; the drawings spoke for me. Today, I think the move should be the exact opposite. Opening the door instead of barricading it.

I'm opening this space to share those sketchbooks. Starting with thematic selections in PDF—mostly digital for now—and over time I'll be adding scans from physical notebooks. And so on, until one day I might end up hosted in the cloud myself.

Thanks for reading and for stopping by.
